Chateau Inn and Suites

over the years, I've stayed in several places in the Spring Lake area; some were just fine, others I really liked...this was my first visit to Chateau Inn and Suites and I can say with confidence that I'll never stay anyplace else when visiting this area of the Jersey Shore...our suite was beautiful: large and bright, with a great bed, bath with Jacuzzi, wet bar, beautiful tin ceiling, and sparklingly clean...there was a lovely sitting room, separated by French doors, with a gas fireplace that was easy to use, a very comfy leather sofa, coffee table, and desk...there were TVs in both rooms and beautiful chandeliers hanging from both tin ceilings. the staff was super friendly and super professional...the location was perfect; everything you'll need is nearby... all in all, an excellent stay at a gorgeous 1800s Victorian hotel... I've been visiting the Jersey Shore since the 60s and this is without question the nicest place I've ever stayed. very highly recommended!

My family and I first discovered the Chateau Inn and Suites during a summer visit to Spring Lake, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The accommodations are quaint and thoughtfully designed, with beautifully appointed guest rooms that reflect the inn's attention to small details. Our favorite part of the stay was gathering downstairs in the lovely sitting area, where we enjoyed fresh cucumber water and our morning coffee together. The location is unbeatable—just steps from (our favorite) Joseph’s Italian Deli, Spring Lake, and only a few blocks from downtown shopping, charming cafes, and of course, the boardwalk. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire hotel staff for making our stay so warm and welcoming. A special mention goes to Sage, who greeted us at the front desk and is part of the family that owns the inn, and to the hotel manager, April, whose outstanding hospitality made our visit truly memorable. Their care and attention added a personal touch that made our trip feel extra special. We enjoyed our summer stay so much that we returned for a special winter getaway and have already booked rooms for next summer with the entire family. The Chateau Inn and Suites is truly a gem, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Chateau for our wedding, and had a block there for our guests. We have family in the area and had always admired the Chateau walking by. When we booked our wedding venue in Spring Lake, the Chateau was our first choice for accommodations, and it was everything we hoped for and more! The rooms were unique, classy, comfortable, and photogenic for our getting ready photos. Our suite had a balcony overlooking the park, which was the perfect spot for us to enjoy our first morning as newlyweds having a cup of coffee and recapping our wedding. The Chateau is convenient to the train station for our NY/NJ friends and family, and our out-of-town guests all felt right at home. Despite our family living just down the street, we are already planning a vacation where we stay at the Chateau again to enjoy the wonderful accommodations and relive our wedding day. My sister & I have been coming here for years!! We recently celebrated our granddaughter’s birthday & stayed at the inn. Our experience was over the top, from the minute we checked in until the time we checked out. The Chateau Inn and Suites is a beautiful property with so much charm. It’s super quaint, cute, and thoughtfully maintained, making for a really pleasant stay. The location is perfect, just minutes from town and very close to the beach, with easy access to all the local amenities. Everything felt peaceful and convenient, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely, well located spot in Spring Lake.

Stayed here New Years Day with my fiancé as a Birthday present to him. This place is amazing! It is beautiful, the room was beautiful and clean, and plenty of amenities. We stayed in the King Parlor suite. It was perfect. The lobby area is beautiful! All of the innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!!

Beautiful place to stay a few blocks from the ocean. Staff is excellent, especially Sage who always goes the extra mile and has excellent local recommendations for places to eat, visit, etc. My suite was very clean, had a full working kitchen (with stove, microwave, dishwasher, plates, silverware, coffee maker, etc.) and the cleaners did a wonderful job. We visit this Inn every year in September, it is the perfect end of the summer for us. Highly recommend :).

Excellent place for couples to stay while visiting Spring Lake. Our room on the third floor was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. Staff provided helpful info and were pleasant to deal with. Will stay here again without a doubt!
